Value Tree Planting Kit
Our value planting pack contains the bare essentials needed for planting. This kit contains a 6ft, 7ft or 8ft round, peeled, pointed and pressure treated stake and a rubber tree tie. It is ideal for smaller trees or sheltered spots!
Heavy Duty Planting Kit
Like our value planting kit, our heavy duty kit contains the essential planting accompaniments needed when planting a tree. However, this kit contains two 6ft, 7ft or 8ft stakes for additional support. Ideal for larger trees or windy/exposed areas, this kit also contains a tree pad, rubber tree tie and crossbar.
Irrigated Planting Kit
Our irrigated tree planting kit is recommended for instances where a tree would significantly benefit from the use of a watering aid. This kit contains a 6ft, 7ft or 8ft stake, a rubber tree tie, and a root rain irrigation system. This is an easy to install watering aid which delivers water directly to the roots via a perforated tube which is buried around the rootball during the planting process.
The Nutrient Planting Pack
Our nutrient tree planting kit contains the feed and mycorrhizal fungi needed to kick-start the first year tree establishment and root growth. This kit contains a 6ft, 7ft or 8ft stake, a rubber tree tie, a 150g bag of Rootgrow mycorrhizal fungi and a 1kg bag of After Plant – Tree and Shrub First Year Feed.
Rootgrow – Contains mycorrhizal fungi which significantly reduces root colonisation time during the first year. Within as little as four weeks the fungi will have created an entire secondary root system that naturally increases nutrient and water uptake helping to support the tree for the rest of it’s lifetime.
Afterplant – A refined plant feed tailored to the needs of all trees and shrubs.
The Premium Planting Pack
Our premium planting kit contains everything you need to kick-start your trees first year of establishment and root growth. This kit contains a 6ft, 7ft or 8ft stake, a rubber tree tie, a root rain irrigation system, a 150g bag of Rootgrow mycorrhizal fungi and a 1kg bag of After Plant – Tree and Shrub First Year Feed. This planting kit will help to support the tree, aid watering of the tree and add nutrients to the soil throughout the growing season.
Watering
Although our tree planting kits will help to support the tree and ensure that water is delivered directly to the roots (depending on which kit you choose). It is important to maintain a regular watering schedule to keep the soil moist. For more information check out our article on watering newly planted trees!
We can also supply tree watering bags if it is difficult for you to maintain a regular schedule over an extended period of time. These bags are able to hold 75 litres of water that is slowly delivered to the roots overtime. These watering bags allow more of the water to be absorbed deeper into the soil to promote deeper root establishment!
