Heavy Duty Tree Planting Kit
Buy King and Co’s Heavy Duty Tree Planting Kit, which contains the essential planting accompaniments to be used when planting a tree. This pack contains two 1.8m (6ft) or 2.4m (8ft) tall tree stakes, tree pad and buckle tie in addition to a crossbar.
An essential part of the planting process, the heavy duty tree planting kits are used to allow the roots to anchor into the ground whilst helping to keep the planted tree in an upright position in windy conditions. See our single stake staking kit for smaller trees.
The 1.8m (6ft) stakes have a 60mm diameter, whereas the 2.4m (8ft) stakes have a 75mm diameter to make them strong and long-lasting. The stakes should be knocked in either side of the planting pit with a post driver or sledgehammer until they are held firmly. Attach the crossbar onto the two stakes before attaching the tree pad and buckle tie.
Please note screws/nails are not included in the kit.

PLANT INFORMATION
- What's included? : Two stakes, a tree pad and tree tie and a crossbar.
- Stake Lengths : 1.8m (6ft) or 2.4m (8ft).
- Stake Diameters : 1.8m (6ft) stakes are 60mm wide. 2.4m (8ft) stakes are 75mm wide.
- Crossbar Dimensions : 90cm x 10cm x 3.5cm
- Stake Properties : Round, peeled, pointed and pressure treated.
- Tree Tie Properties : Rubberised tree tie and cushioned tree pad to prevent rubbing of the tree stem on the crossbar.
AFTER CARE / PLANT MAINTENANCE
- How to use? : Knock in the stakes either side of the planting pit until they are held firmly. Attach the crossbar to the two stakes and make sure it is level. Thread the buckle tie through the tree pad and attach to the crossbar. Place the tree carefully into the planting pit and fasten securely with the tree tie.
- Do I need anything else? : You will only need a few nails and a hammer, or screws and drill. These are not included in the tree planting kit.

How can I expect delivery from King & Co?
Overnight to your door
We can delivery to you anywhere in England and Wales via an overnight courier service (two days for Scotland & Ireland).
Via Online Shop
Orders placed via our Online shop if placed by 10am Monday –Thursday can be delivered to you the very next day. If placed on a Friday – Sunday delivery would be on Tuesday.
We deliver by national overnight courier service.
Should you require a specific delivery date, let us know in advance and we will arrange for your delivery to arrive on your required date.
Every tree and plant is packed to ensure your order arrives safely.
For large trees or quantities of trees and plants
Please phone us to discuss, we are usually able to deliver to you via a dedicated vehicle.
For local deliveries
We will deliver to you in our local area and we will be pleased to arrange this with you whilst you are visiting our Nursery or via the phone. We also provide a planting service.
Planting service
We have our own installation teams to carry out planting in Southern & Eastern England. Please call us to discuss, we are always happy to provide you a quotation.
