Malus domestica ‘Discovery’ is a medium-sized, deciduous tree. Discovery Apple trees for sale!
It has green leaves and white flowers that emerge in the spring. In August/September fruits also emerge.
These early season dessert apples are bright red with a pale green background. They have a crisp, juicy and sharp flavour.
Cross-pollinate this tree with pollination groups 3 and 5 to produce fruit.
You can almost guarantee pollination in suburban situations where other apple trees are in close proximity.
Grown on a MM106 rootstock to produce a strong tree, this tree reaches a mature height of 5-6m and a mature spread of 4-5m.
With a moderate growth rate and compact shape, this tree is a good garden variety.

AFTER CARE / PLANT MAINTENANCE
Once planted, Malus domestica ‘Discovery’ will need watering throughout the first growing season, but make sure not to over / underwater.
Check tree tie / stake isn’t rubbing and / or too tight or too loose on the trunk.
Check for and remove any dead, decaying, diseased or crossing branches.
Remove any weeds from around the base of the Malus domestica (including grass).

- Soil : Fertile, moist and well-drained soil.
- Hardiness : Hardy in all areas of UK.

Overnight to your door
We can delivery to you anywhere in England and Wales via an overnight courier service (two days for Scotland & Ireland).
Via Online Shop
Orders placed via our Online shop if placed by 10am Monday –Thursday can be delivered to you the very next day. If placed on a Friday – Sunday delivery would be on Tuesday.
We deliver by national overnight courier service.
Should you require a specific delivery date, let us know in advance and we will arrange for your delivery to arrive on your required date.

Please phone us to discuss, we are usually able to deliver to you via a dedicated vehicle.
