Tree Fertiliser – King and Co Tree, Shrub and Hedge Feed
Buy King and Co’s slow release fertiliser, which has been specially formulated for use with trees, shrubs and hedges.
This fertiliser can be used for newly planted trees in addition to established ones to give the soil a real boost. King and Co’s fertiliser has a biodegradable coating to allow a controlled release of nutrients to support or reinvigorate trees, hedging or shrubs.
The balanced blend of Nitrogen, Phosphorus, and Potassium in addition to vital trace elements are ideal at all stages of growth. Promote healthy growth, flowering and fruit yield, leaf colour and general vigour.
How to use tree fertiliser for new planting:
Mix granules into excavated soil ready to use for backfill, make sure to water in well. Light application can also be used as a top dressing. Check the back of the bottle for application rates.
How to use tree fertiliser for established planting:
Fork holes around the base of the trees or plants to open up the top layer of soil. Sprinkle the granules into the holes and water in well. Check the back of the bottle for application rates.
Make sure to wash hands after use. Keep pets and children away during application until granules are washed in.

PLANT INFORMATION
- Size : 950g Bottle
- What's in it? : NPK: 18-12-12 +5CaO + 3MgO +8SO^3
- What do the NPK compounds do? : Nitrogen helps leaf growth, Phosphorous assists flowering and fruiting, Potassium supports root growth .
- What do the trace elements do? : Calcium helps the structure of a plant. Magnesium aids photosynthesis. Sulfur promotes the absorbtion of all the nutrients.
- Colour : Natural multi-coloured granules.
- Properties : Slow release granular fertiliser. An Osmocote alternative.
- Recommended usage : Apply granules around the base of the plant, lightly worked into the soil and water well. Incorporate into the excavated soil of newly planted trees. Apply as a top dressing in forked holes around the base of plantings of established trees and plants.
AFTER CARE / PLANT MAINTENANCE
- How much to use? : Use around a hanful for each tree. Please see detailed application rates on the bottle.
- How many trees can a bottle do? : Around 10 x 8-10cm girth trees, for just under 100g of fertiliser per tree.
- Is this safe to use with pets and children? : Make sure to wash hands after use. Keep pets and children away during application until the granules are washed in. Please see the Safety Sheet for more information.

How can I expect delivery from King & Co?
Overnight to your door
We can delivery to you anywhere in England and Wales via an overnight courier service (two days for Scotland & Ireland).
Via Online Shop
Orders placed via our Online shop if placed by 10am Monday –Thursday can be delivered to you the very next day. If placed on a Friday – Sunday delivery would be on Tuesday.
We deliver by national overnight courier service.
Should you require a specific delivery date, let us know in advance and we will arrange for your delivery to arrive on your required date.
Every tree and plant is packed to ensure your order arrives safely.
For large trees or quantities of trees and plants
Please phone us to discuss, we are usually able to deliver to you via a dedicated vehicle.
For local deliveries
We will deliver to you in our local area and we will be pleased to arrange this with you whilst you are visiting our Nursery or via the phone. We also provide a planting service.

We have our own installation teams to carry out planting in Southern & Eastern England. Please call us to discuss, we are always happy to provide you a quotation.
