Betula utilis Jacquemontii ‘Doorenbos’ – Multi-stem Himalayan birch tree 3m tall Rootball
Get your Himalayan birch tree and bring elegance, structure and year-round interest to your landscape!
Betula jacquemontii ‘Doorenbos’ is a medium-sized, deciduous tree known for its brilliant white, peeling bark.
Seen here in multistem form, it has a wider, vase-shaped crown and several slim trunks branching from near ground level. Each stem features the same striking bark, creating greater visual impact than a single-stemmed tree.
It also has dark green, ovate leaves turn a rich yellow in autumn, adding seasonal colour and texture. As well as small brown-yellow catkins that emerge in spring, enhancing the tree’s ornamental value.
Thanks to its structure, the multistem birch works well as a natural screen or architectural feature. It grows 6–10 metres tall, depending on stem count, and adapts to various well-draining soil types.
For best results, plant in full sun or partial shade and water regularly during dry spells.
This variety holds the RHS Award of Garden Merit, confirming its performance and reliability in UK gardens.
