Betula utilis Jacquemontii
Himalayan birch adds a touch of class to any garden due to its striking white bark and green ovate leaves. For an 8-10 girth size, the birch would typically be around 8 to 10 feet in height, meaning it can be shipped out overnight if bought before 10am* for the next working day. Betula Jacqeumontii is useful for smaller spaces, providing dappling shade when in full leaf. Betula utilis Jacqeumontii is available at King and Co in smaller sizes too.
Acer platanoides Royal Red
Acer platanoides Royal Red holds bold purple-crimson leaves before falling in Autumn. This Norway Maple is tolerant of most situations and hence is well suited to planting in urban areas to add deep colour into the landscape. This Acer is low maintenance and is hardy even in the severe winters.
Cupressocyparis leylandii Gold Pom-Pom
This leylandii pom-pom is a great architectural plant, having evergreen golden foliage and is very easy to maintain. This conifer copes well with windy and coastal sites, being planted in full sun produces the best foliage colour. At the King and Co Nursery in Essex, this evergreen conifer stands between 1.75 to 2 metres tall.
Cupressocyparis leylandii Castwellan Gold Spiral
A golden conifer similar to the pom-pom, but in the shape of a spiral. The spiral is as easy to maintain as the pom-pom variety, and can be trimmed to the desired feature size. Cupressocyparis leylandileylandii is often used as a pair, one placed on each side of a door or pathway. Topiary spirals at King and Co are of 1.5 to 1.75 meters in height.
