Prunus laurocerasus is an evergreen tree with large, glossy green leaves. Buy Pleached Cherry laurel trees!
Cherry laurel has masses of small white, fragrant flowers that emerge in spring. These flowers appear in upright racemes.
Small red/black cherry-like fruits then appear in autumn. Although these fruits can be toxic, a hard clip after the flowers finish in spring will prevent ‘cherries’ from forming.
This will promote fresh new leaf growth for the summer while keeping your garden free from dropping fruit.
These Pleached trees have a 1.8m clear stem and a framework of foliage. This framework of foliage sits above a standard 6ft fence to create a stilted hedge.
This raised hedge is ideal for screening unsightly views from your property e.g. neighbours windows, satellite dishes, extensions.
Cherry laurel grows at a fast rate of 30-50cm a year once established, but they tolerate very hard pruning to control their growth. Pruning also helps to create a thicker and bushier plant.
Clip plants in a more formal shape or leave to grow into their natural form.

AFTER CARE / PLANT MAINTENANCE
Once planted, the laurel will need watering throughout the first growing season, but make sure not to over / underwater.
Check tree tie / stake isn’t rubbing and / or too tight or too loose on the trunk.
Check for and remove any dead, decaying, diseased or crossing branches.
Remove any weeds from around the base of the laurel tree (including grass).

Overnight to your door
We can delivery to you anywhere in England and Wales via an overnight courier service (two days for Scotland & Ireland).
Via Online Shop
Orders placed via our Online shop if placed by 10am Monday –Thursday can be delivered to you the very next day. If placed on a Friday – Sunday delivery would be on Tuesday.
We deliver by national overnight courier service.
Should you require a specific delivery date, let us know in advance and we will arrange for your delivery to arrive on your required date.
