Malus domestica – Bramley’s Apple tree 8-10cm girth Potted

Malus domestica ‘Bramley’ is often considered the most popular cooking apple owing to its very large crops of extra large fruit. It is a medium-sized, deciduous, tree with green leaves that hold throughout spring, autumn and winter. Pink flowers emerge in the spring, followed by fruits that can be used between November and February. These apples have a yellow/green and slightly red striped skin with a creamy, flavourful flesh. Once apples are ready to harvest they can be stored in a cool dry place until March. The Bramley apple is a triploid, this means that two other pollinators are needed from the same pollination group, we recommend Malus ‘James Grieve’ and Malus ‘Granny Smith’ as pollination partners for this tree. If you live in a suburban area you will probably find there are sufficient compatible trees in neighbouring gardens. This tree is grown on a MM106 rootstock to produce a strong tree that will reach a mature height of 5-6m and a mature spread of 4-5m. Please note that this is a very vigorous tree, and we would not recommend planting in small gardens.

These 8-10cm girth trees are container grow (c/g) giving more time to plant after purchase.
