Laurels are also used as a privacy tree, using its dense, rapid growing foliage to screen windows and other unsightly views from a garden. Laurels will thrive in nearly all conditions and can be planted a slightly larger spacings when compared to Photinia Red Robin or Ligustrum (Privet) trees due to their rapid growth rate.
