Malus domestica - Bramley's Apple tree 6/8cm girth
The most popular cooking apple due to very large crops of extra large fruit . Fruit is juicy and has creamy flesh with lots of flavour. A very vigorous tree, not suitable for small gardens. Bramley is a triploid, so two other pollinators are needed from the same pollination group, we recommend Malus 'James Grieve' and Malus 'Granny Smith' as pollination partners for this tree. If you live in a suburban area you will probably find there are sufficient compatible trees in neighbouring gardens. Plant In full sun, in fertile well drained soil. Once apples are ready to harvest they can be stored in a cool dry place until March.
Grown on MM106 rootstock to produce a strong tree growing to approx 5-6m tall, ideal for most sites and soil conditions.
